With everything that is going on in the world today it is essential to keep your options open and one of them is the idea of gaining dual nationality in other countries so you can move freely between your country of origin and your parents or grandparents place of origins. The option also to settle down in those chosen countries also.
From doing my research I’ve found applying for dual nationality when you are of descent is actually much easier in Barbados which is the country I’m focusing on then doing it through marriage. So I’m going to talk you through the process so to speak
1 step one the application with which you use to apply for citizenship in Barbados make sure you fill it out completely
2 have your original birth certificate if not in English it can be translated
3 have both of your parents birth certificates including the parents is a bajan citizen through birth
4 make sure to include your parents marriage certificate and or divorce certificate
5 your application should include three passport sized photographs and there required no matter your age
6 Barbados also requires a one of fee of €300
7 if you are married your marriage certificate is also required
8 all the documents you provide should also be photocopied and include the photocopies in the application
9 finally if you do not have your documents in order your application shall be declined.
So I hope that explains it as simply as possible stay blessed and travel
